Enter SNP Number

Complete SNP Data

You can access any of the 900,000+ genotypes detected by the Affymetrix® Genome-Wide Human SNP Array 6.0 by entering the SNP rs number in the search box.

There are several public domain resources that can provide additional information on SNPs and disease-condition associations. Those listed below provide access to a wealth of genetic information you may find useful:

PubMed:
PubMed is an online database of biomedical journal citations and abstracts created by the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Virtually all of the scientific reports on SNPs and disease-condition associations can be found here. You can search by disease, condition, or by SNP rs number.

dbSNP:
The dbSNP database, sponsored by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) serves as the central repository for single nucleotide polymorphism data. Enter a SNP by rs number and the polymorphism will be displayed along with flanking sequence. By clicking on the rs number displayed you can access the reference SNP (refSNP) cluster report which lists all of the relevant data for that SNP. Scroll down the page to Population Diversity for a complete description of genotype frequencies in various reference populations for a given SNP.

OMIM:
The Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man database is a catalog of human genes and genetic disorders. This resource is especially useful for exploring additional SNP disease-condition associations.

Ensembl:
Ensembl is supported by an international consortium that organizes vast amount of genomic data. It is especially useful for graphical browsing of genomic data showing chromosome location of SNPs.

Entrez:
Entrez is another NCBI supported project that provides one-stop-shopping. Type in a SNP by rs number to try a cross-database search to accesses a wide range of genomic and genetic resources.

SNPedia:
A community based resource that shares public information on SNPs, recent scientific advances, and allows browsing by SNP, gene or medical condition.
